Week 10: Capture the Beauty

The first picture I took was one night after the rain. I saw this and had to take a picture, it just so looked pretty, live, standing there seeing this. I like how the lights are being reflected on the floor, like it would on the stage. There is red, yellow and some white, in between the colors there are dark spot, due from not receiving light. Overall I love this picture, it gave me a feel loneliness but re-freshness.

The second picture I took it while I was in the car heading for a camping trip. I saw this and I had to take a picture because I thought I would never see this again, so beautiful the way the clouds are sitting over the mountain-hills. The source of the sunlight brought beauty to this scenery. The clouds are white on top with some shadows in the middle, to completely gray on the bottom. Then the clouds give the mountain-hills some depth with the shadowing. Also the blue sky above the cloud is a darker blue than the bottom of the cloud, where it is light blue. I couldn't stop smiling while looking at this it was breathtaking, so happy i caught a perfect picture of it.

I always like to observe my surrounding and I love when I catch a beautiful moment. I always take a picture of them because every moment is unique it will never be repeat. Life gives us beautiful moments that should be cherished and not taking a picture of it is just wrong. Lighting is all around us, every day, every night ect. If it's by sunlight, moonlight, or electricity, it is everywhere. I have always appreciated lighting because is what gives us those beautiful sunsets and interesting outdoors or inside want to take a picture moments. Taking this class has opened my eyes even more about lighting and I appreciate it even more, especially everything that goes into lighting design.
