Week 8: Cheers to New Beginnings

I took this photo the day of my father's engagement to his new wife. We were toasting just as the sun was beginning to set. Everyone was standing around this small table of champagne, holding a glass and listening to my father's heartfelt speech. The mood was bright, matching the sunlight that embraced our faces. The reflection on the ocean embodied a beautiful feeling of complete serenity. There was laughter, tears and many congratulations that carried on until the sun crept away from our sights. It was an amazing moment that I will never forget, and I am so thankful that I had the chance to capture this profound moment.
