Week 8 Home

I never noticed how much light could go through my blinds. I've always had my blinds close ever since I moved to my new room in Southern California. It's amazing how much the contrast is faded and lighten by how much the light source is given. The saturated of the lavender gets richer when there is no light on it. I just really think it's really fun to play with color using lights. In many ways, I think light is such a good source of setting moods or certain moments. Ever since this class, I am paying way more attention to the coloring of the color because of light. The term "context" and "enrichment" is in my vocabulary daily. I love how everything about I see in light, I see it in many possible ways. To really boil it down, light is awesome and important. Also, this picture makes me feel really at home. I do miss my hometown a lot, but in the photograph, reminds me of the same way the sun hits my room. It is a warm feeling and it reminds me I have here for a purpose.
