Window pane

I took this picture at a party this weekend at a friend's house. I really enjoyed the light spilling in from this window. It took the place of a front wall! I started to imagine a set with a wall that was similar to this, and then all I could think of were the lighting possibilities this would create. The swirls give it a very elegant and sophisticated feel, which would really work to simply convey in theatre. It would be really amazing to have it face the cyc, and light that up with all sorts of color. I would love to see something like that done! To watch it fade through the day would be absolutely gorgeous. Or to watch a lighting storm through the panes? That would be outstanding. This picture really got my artistic cogs moving!
